My husband, an Italian and lover of Belli was so excited to see that these have been so excellently translated in Italian.Everyone who has been to Rome would enjoy these.
Giuseppe Gioacchino Belli (1791-1863) composed well over two thousand clandestine Romanesco sonnets for many years while leading an aparent conformist life of letters.

Risotto with autumn vegetables

Make a vegetable broth of at least 1,1/2 ltrs of water and some carrots, daikon or turnips, green beans, yellow pumpkin, sprouted soya beans,onion, garlic, piece of ginger, a small piece of green chilli without seeds, zucchini, bay leaf, rosemary, s & p. almond and lemon cake

Juice and grated rind of 1 organic lemon
4 tbspns olive oil
3/4 cup half dark brown sugar,half white sugar
